Persona 1 is a really bad game desu. I would recommend Persona 2:IS/EP over it any day.

The biggest problem with the PS1 version is the amount of cut content, being the biggest offense the cutting of the whole Ice Queen quest, wich was basically a whole different route of the game. That was some bullshit of the highest degree. Blocking the real last boss behind 4 different questions answered on different parts of the game was also a low blow if you failed to answer one of them right, like I did in my first playthrough. But that's probably on the original version, too.

... Even then, it had black Mark, so I can't really be mad with this game.

Yes I believe it was. I've wondered what is the best way to go about making a game like Persona with multiple endings. There is definitely a fine line between the process being to obtuse and being to simple.I can't really think of any Persona that truly nailed it down.

Black guy here, it depends on the black person. The average black person probably wouldn't give a shit as they have more important things to worry about than our portrayal in multimedia. Those that do care may not appreciate the blatant tokenism though seldom ever calls anyone out on it. I suppose those involved with sjws and/or black lives matter probably wouldn't mind it just a long as the black person has a decent amount of screen time, just throw in a few yos and what ups and there you go .
