I don't know anon, I fly every month and walk around airports a lot but I only got about 2 streetpasses in last half a year.

Most likely 3DS owners don't keep it in sleep mode.

It's weird to me

I live in a small city in a small country and I have 4 or 5 passes just from my room.
Going to GAME is 6 relay passes plus people there with 3DS.

I almost don't believe people with problems to streetpass unless they live on a village.

I kind of stopped carrying around my 3DS when the Switch came out. I kind of was getting bored of the games anyway and because it'd sometimes take you days just to streetpass with enough people to even do anything in them.

I got like 10 passes in a single day last month at Disneyland, but train stations and airports haven't gotten me many passes in years. I haven't been taking my 3DS as much as I used to though, new games generally don't use Streetpass much.(Animal Crossing is probably the game with the most benefits for SP)

FBI is a custom app that installs other custom apps that you can only get if you homebrew your 3DS. You can set any app on your 3DS as your favorite app even if it's impossible to get them on legit 3DS'.
