Ziggurat, Mirror's Edge, Mega Man X. I usually play games with low volume and music on too. Nature's Revenge is a good song.

Roguelikes are good for that unless you need the sound to actually get information. Grind games are nice, too. Diablo 3/2 , WoW, Warframe, etc.

Personally if I want to listen to a knew album I'll turn on D3 or PoE and just blast the shit out of things in the background while taking it in. Works well for my genres, anyways.

Yeah Ziggurat is good for that because from start to finish is about the length of most albums, works pretty well

TF2. Makes it a little harder because you can't hear spies uncloaking or sentry guns around corners but it's not that big of a deal.

I used to play CS1.6/CS:S a lot but kind of got tired of it when I started realizing it was a lot harder to play when listening to music, that might be why I picked up TF2 instead.

vtmb is another good game to play if you want to listen to albums from bands that were featured in the game, probably not good to do your first time though because the characters are worth hearing at least once
