I installed Gigantic and the weird launcher 30 minutes ago, started it up and had to uninstall immediately again.
It's locked to 60 fps (on PC), the game has no fullscreen mode support (only borderless windowed), the UI immediately spazzed out when I moved the mouse over anything as it was expecting the gamepad to be the primary input device without any option to disable that short of unplugging everything before launching the game.
From a technical standpoint this is trailing far behind the curve. Shame though, the gameplay looked quite enjoyable to kill time with between playing other games.
I presume if this had been released 2 years earlier on consoles without any competition on the market they'd probably had a successful title on their hands.

I've been having fun with this game but the lack of hero variety makes me feel like I'll lose interest. I'm also used to DOTA2 where you can't use the same characters so I get pretty confused when I see two Mozu barriers even if one has a red underline. I'm hoping for a steady release of heroes but considering that Ramsay is 13000 where everyone else is 10000, it looks bleak. I don't know how anyone can play games like that.

The heroes feel pretty neat to play as but there are too many dots, beckett makes me want to kill myself, and fuck ramsay. Beckett is practically just a damage tax for being in the battle seeing how no one else on my team seems able to aim at her. Ramsay is just annoying because he pretty much just has 4 moves that hit the same way. I'm surprised how accurate you have to be with certain things but it's pretty annoying when I whiff a 20 second cd because of a slight incline.

Been playing this pretty damn frequently last week or so. Love my boy Pakko and Recently been having a blast with Zandora.

Personally I love the artstyle and like most of the character designs (aside from maybe Vadasi and Imani's a bit too plain)

And it's a BLAST to play, it looks more clusterfucky in Webm's then it feels and I like the way the Guardians/Clash/and Rampage works

Only problem for me right now is the Maps, Ice map fucking sucks because it's ALWAYS a fight for D until the clash where it's a fight for the NEW D (the house). Reef I personally don't like cause C and D are always this see-saw and the clash is no fun, but thats just me.

Honestly the matchmaking, card system, and connectivity have all been rad for something like this and it just needs a couple quality of life fixes etc...

The artstyle is really pretty, screenshots dont really sell that all too well.

The tiny userbase on steam (4-6k at any given time) gives me the impression the game won't last long, and I really don't see it lasting after this year if they don't do something to bolster their numbers. I fucking love the game though, although it really suffers from balance problems and a variety of small issues.
