Even Daigo himself says the game is not fun. The only real way this game can become relevant again is if Super SFV happens and completely overhauls the game; not Menat, not arcade mode, not Sagot/Sakura/Oro/Q/Whatever, not a perfect online experience, I mean a complete revamp that changes the core game mechanics harder than A Realm Reborn changed FFXIV. But since Capcom still remain silent on the game being on critical life support while they keep pumping out more over-priced DLC costumes and Esports money, there's no reason to remain confident in Capcom's ability to fix the game and just move on.
