None really. I'm trying to quit the genre after realising I'll never have time to get gud so there's really no point in getting stressed out by it.

I even cancelled my DBZ pre order.

why are games so damn expensive nowadays

ive been playing street fighter 5 but i dont have fun, i just get salty. even when winning, playing against these mongoloids online is just a fucking chore. 90% of players just rely on stupid gimmicks and fall apart when you stop said gimmick.

I go to my locals and shit and support the game as much as I can, and the scene is still alive and kicking, it usually gets like 70-90 entrants at majors and regionals, but I wish it was bigger

I really wanna try to get into fighting games but I have almost no experience at all.

I bought Skullgirls on sale last week, is this a good game for a beginner like me ? I'm doing the tutorial (which are actually pretty nice for beginners I think) but I struggle to put a lot of the tuto combos. It's really hard for me to remember all the inputs and to have the muscle memory to manage to do them.
I'm playing with an Xbox One controller, but sometimes it's not easy to have access to two face buttons at the same time with just my thumb. So I was wondering, is it just a matter of habit or are fighting sticks really mandatory for these games ?

And do you guys have some tips to help me get into it ?

sticks aren't mandatory
main reason you get them ifs if you have a lot of experience at the arcades with the actual cabinets
they don't magically make things easier.

when learning big combos, you have to split them up into little pieces
if you have trouble in a certain part, find a way to just practice that part every time and then when you finally get it down, go back into trying to do the whole thing again

Is Injustice 2 any good? It looks fun but I'm not 100% sold yet. I've been wondering but it doesn't seem worth making a thread over. I liked MKX if that means anything.

In the process of learning Blazblue CF but it's not really clicking with me yet.
Probably gonna relearn Guilty Gear when I get Rev2 after not playing it ages.
Also have KoF XIV and Tekken 7. KoF is fun, Tekken not so much.
