as a beginner i recommend looking up the bosses in the wiki to make sure you have a competent party composition.

Nothing is more infuriating than party wiping because you can't hit the boss.

If you're gonna not look up bosses, which is fine, I'd recommend playing on Radiant.
It's not an easier in terms of game mechanics it's just cheaper to upgrade stuff (specifically the stage coach) so you can lose dudes and not have to waste tons of time

Also, fuck the court. The new enemies basically guarantee that someone is getting cursed, the maps are really damn huge, this prick seems to show up on short missions (I beat him 3 times, when will he fuck off for good? Is this what Wulf was like before they fixed that bug?), and the court bosses (at least the ones I beat) are absurd

it's fucking shit. it cripples both you hp and stress res, for a (i have to admit) good boost in damage. the reward is good, but not good enough. i would reccomend either an ancestral trinket like the pen or the candle, or, better yet, taking the appropiate ring to the fight you're gonna go through (eldritch, beast, human, etc)
