i dont find the level design all that good, particularly the level after the catacombs in which the SS chicks are introduced, high damage, accurate hitscan weapons on enemies are not fun, and they placed these bitches in some very inconvenient places, theres one that constantly throws grenades down some stairs, is pretty much impossible to avoid taking damage cuz she wont stop throwing grenades and you need to climb those stairs

Its not bad but unremarkable. The only thing the original had going for it was it was the 1st. Doom was better in every way.

The new wolfenstein is also not bad but unremarkable. A shooter without MP basically is automatically shit these days. Ironically, the only thing that gives it relevance is the politics these threads often devolve into.

i can play something like Quake from start to finish no prob because the level design is actually amazing, i never felt that way with RTCW, and trust me after TNO, i WANTED to enjoy it, but i simply didnt see what the fuss was about

TNO was garbage. It's like they took everything wrong with the modern FPS and put it into a single game. I'm not usually one to assume that everyone who disagrees with me is this or that but this is one of those times where I genuinely could not understand how anyone could like this game unless they've never played an FPS that came out before gen 7.
Granted we know how much Bethesda shills on /v/ so it's hard to tell either way.
