You need to kill the flying dudes and hopefully the boxes they carry too, the dudes drop a golden egg while the box, if let open, spawns a common enemy.
Sounds simple so far, but the real problem is the mothership because it comes to your base and sucks the eggs. You need to shoot it but it has quite the HP and it's pretty fast at stealing all your eggs, so you need coordination to shoot it asap.

Just hit level 10. At what point will there be a weapon better than the Splattershot junior? This thing rapes, I'm getting like 10-15 kills a match, the Ink Armor sub seems to be the best of what's available set the moment, and the weapon itself inks the floor like a motherfucker.

Also is there any equipment I should be buying? I'd like something that improves ink refill speed because I throw grenades a lot.

I'm glad my swim speed up drink ticket didn't get me swim speed up a single time on the one item I was wearing that had a +swim speed up brand.

If you throw grenades a lot, you can pick all or some combination of Ink Recovery Up, Ink Saver (Sub), or Sub Power Up. Sub Power Up increases throw distance on most bombs, rather than the power of the bomb.

For clothes, anything that looks good and/or has abilities you want. There are the ones above, but plenty of abilities are good for general use, like Ink Saver Main, Ninja Squid, Swim Speed Up, Special Charge Up and Special Power Up if you have a good Special (Special Power Up increases duration of Ink Armor). There isn't some specific set or individual item that you want, just anything that's good.

I would advise staying away from the abilities Special Saver, Quick Respawn, Quick Super Jump (unless you've got some jump splashdown gimmick technique going on), Cold-Blooded, and Respawn Punisher.

Opening Gambit, Last-Ditch Effort, Haunt, and Comeback are all questionably useful.

I don't know if you've unlocked it, but the N-Zap '85 has Ink Armor, Suction Bombs, and pretty similar stats to the Junior but with more range. I don't have much experience with it, but I see it pretty often, it seems to be good.

That and the Tri-Slosher are pretty much the only other weapons with Ink Armor and a competent bomb.

Pearl reminds me of a brash blunt person (fits the rap thing honestly) that's a bit too childish and honest for herself and others, but you can at least tell that away right from the start and you get used to. She's quick-tempered and hasty, but not nasty all the time. She can be just as happy like a child and even sticks her tongue out like one. Basically, the kind of person that isn't afraid to speak out their mind if there is an objection or something they feel it needs to be said, but can't confront wild responses well or would rather avoid them or approach them in a calmer tone.

Marina reminds me of someone that can pull off the shy girl facade well, but can have a dire need to make a comeback every time if it means to make herself look better or to stand up on her own against others, which you can't tell from the beginning due to her shy presence. Honestly, judging each by their own personalities, Pearl feels more of a consistent character. Marina's personality often clashes with her design more than it should. Knowing that Jp. Marina is kinder than her overseas version makes me think NoA probably made the call as to make her have a not so borish personality, something the West could have interpreted as simply 'moe', but amidst that, gave her a personality that doesn't exactly fit her as well. Her responses are the kind of responses that seem way too forced, almost as if to bring out reactions on purpose. Why does Salmon Run give shit weapons? As soon as buckets and shitty chargers are given, everyone loses.

I just had someone on my team with the rainmaker stand next to the enemy pedestal for a good solid 10 seconds waiting to be shot and killed rather than putting it on. EVERYTHING was inked our colour and all the enemies were dead and they just refused. It wasn't even like they were incompetently using the rainmaker to shoot at something thinking we needed extra protection, they just stood there. The story mode at least, the multiplayer is okay too but the story music really shines. Actually, the multiplayer music in both games isn't too memorable IMO.
