Let's say the guy's average game costs £9.99. That's almost £4,000.

He wouldn't have to get all the DLC in one go - he could just buy the game for the 400th, then gradually get the DLC. My point is, you'd have to be doing good to have that many games.

PLUS that's assuming OP has no games on any other gaming platform i.e. Origin, or GOG. Or games that don't come via third party shit, like I dunno WoW or LoL. OR any console games (inb4 console peasant, PC is master race yes but there's fuck all wrong with having a console too). OR portable/handheld console games.

What are sales, cd key resellers, and humble bundle.

My steam account has around 400 games and I probably paid less than 200USD for them all. I have never purchased a steam game that was more expensive than 20 USD on sale.
