some of the units can have weak wi-fi signals, this is an issue that gets reported occasionally

It's really bizarre how my 4-5 year old laptop gets a better wifi signal than my switch. Guess nintendo had to cut corners somewhere, but I guess that's what happens when you put a financial guy in charge of your company.

Just a reminder: Get a fucking USB to LAN adapter. If it works on the Wii, Wii U or actual fucking computers without having to install drivers (manually or plug and play) it works on the Switch.

I haven't had a disconnect yet. And my wifi router is across a wall.

I've had sporadic drops, but since getting the device in March only ever dropped connection maybe 5 or so times?

The Switch's wi-fi is incredibly shitty.
