I dropped the game as soon as I found out you had to use different weapons to defeat the enemies, switching weapons just takes too much time. Shame because the game had 10/10 sound design and the story seemed really intriguing.

But he also helped Ashley more than anyone in his life and the scene where he carries Sydney on his own shoulders cemented their bromance.
