Personally I played CoP vanilla and it was fine
Veteran difficulty is balanced enough to not make every death feel cheap, master is a meme without proper AI mods

People thought that lower difficulties made a percentage of shots miss. In reality it's just that bullet damage is decreased for both player and AI and that AI has fucking iframes during their animations when they get hit
