MSQ (and any other quest) EXP rewards are only good for your highest level job. And for Ranger, Ninja or Warrior are better subjobs. Ninja gives extra suitability and Warrior gives extra damage.

The place has nice colors but at the end of the day it's a flat fucking field that stretches on endlessly and I've had my fill with press W toward destination simulator in this game already.

After running Bardam's Mettle a couple times for leveling I don't even like it anymore. It's the same dungeon and mechanics you've seen 1000 times with an unconventional midboss that plays out the same way every time anyway.

Zone music is also whatever. There are artists out there who can pull off ethnic music better.

Looking at the parse for my first clear, our healers did 1k and 700. We also had two DPS deaths. The LB itself pulled ~2k between Meteor and a single target LB. Also one of our tanks was about 300 DPS short of where he should have been. Basically there's some wiggle room and if we were all optimized and had no deaths we probably could have gotten away with zero healer DPS.

Any healer who doesn't find the time to toss out a couple of attacks is fucking up, but the fights might still technically be clearable this early without them.
