His low jump height makes the Final boss and Oil Ocean's boss a bit harder.

However just being Knuckles makes the game WAY easier. You get to keep your rings when you come out of a special stage

Wow this is very different from the original in a way that I wasn't expecting from this game, I figured all the classic tracks would remain relatively untouched and would just get updated to fit in line with the rest of the OST. I guess because CD has such a troubled history for music they didn't give a shit. I still kinda prefer the original because it's a banger while this is a groove track, but this is real good. I wonder if act 2 has a very different theme.

I only remember palmtree panic's because of the fact that there's an invincibility box not long before it and you can straight up beat him by just standing still, I don't consider that memorable in a good way. collision chaos is pretty alright, easily the second best of the game. tidal tempest is a neat gimmick I guess but it may as well not even be a fight. same with quartz quadrant. wacky workbench is very meh, stardust speedway's is good and metallic madness' is, while a much stronger final boss than 1 had, still nothing really special.
