Vegeta would keep getting up, weaker and angrier each time, trying to throw punches and kicks only for Brianne and her friends to easily avoid and block while laughing and mocking his pathetic attempts. Of course Vegeta is also getting beaten up but the damage will get emotional at some point.

Then Brianne will just taunt Vegeta to attack her while she stays immobile, tanking his punches with her smirking laughing face, and pushing him closer and closer to the edge of the stage. Vegeta knows it and desperately searches a way out but every time he tries to get away, Brianne's friends kick him in the belly or the face to send him back to where he was.

Finally, Vegeta's body fails him and he falls in front of his unscathed opponent. As he is unable to move, she puts her shoes in his mouth, forcing him to lick, and tramples his face. Vegeta tries to move her leg away but Brianne doesn't even move an inch. This all happens in front of the cuck circle (but nobody moves to help him because Gohan tells them to stick to the plan) and Freeza (who doesn't do anything because he doesn't like Vegeta). Vegeta starts crying at this point. Brianne stands up, no visible damage anywhere on her body. She grabs Vegeta's arms mid swing and dislocates both his shoulders, while dancing with him. Vegeta starts screaming for Goku, but he's too busy getting probed by Jiren. "KAKAROT HEEELP MEEE", he screams, as Brianne does cartwheels around him and lands on his delicate legs, shattering every bone in them.

When she feels she's toyed with him enough, Brianne giggles and lifts Vegeta by the throat. She throws him off the ring, mocking his weakness and crushing his pride one last time, but for good. As Vegeta lays there, his hair slowly turning black, he slowly whimpers, in his last act before passing out, "I was holding back..."

Goku, Gohan, (Future) Trunks, and Vegeta all had to train fucking hard to reach Super Saiyan, then the threshold had to be broken by extreme emotional trauma. That's how new levels are reached. As far as Goten and nuTrunks goes, I speculate that when they were concieved, Goku and Vegeta had already broken that threshold so it's not as difficult for them to become Super Saiyan. As a result however, their Super Saiyan forms are weaker than if they had trained for it.

It's only a matter of time before fucking Pan becomes Super Saiyan unless Gohan and Videl never lets her train to fight, GT be damned.

Caulifla is like a player in an MMO who comes in after a few expansions. The longtime players all had to go through everything at its hardest to get through the power progression, and now have all the best stuff in the game.

Personally I like to believe that simply seeing Super Saiyan unlocks something in the mind of a Saiyan that lets them access that form easier.
It was hard for Vegeta because his pride got in the way. Gohan had issues because he was repressed. Future Trunks also had issues.
Modern Trunks and Goten had no such issues, neither did Cabba or Caulifla. As soon as they saw the form they were able to unlock it.
Kale had issues, so was unable to transform and had issues much like Gohan did.

However in truth we don't know all that much about SSJ. To say they just trained hard is making assumptions in itself, but also a bit of a hole because it either implies that there's a specific method of training to gain SSJ that we don't know about, or that you simply need to be at a certain power level and try hard. If it's the latter, then there's no real reason to assume that someone who is presumably already at that power level can't do it.

Also, on Goten and Trunks, as far as we've seen Vegeta probably knocked up Bulma before he went SSJ. So if that were the case, it indicates that going SSJ simply requires a certain power level.

So again, what exactly does it mean to 'earn' SSJ if all you have to do is get really mad? Goku went SSJ for the first time on pure chance. He didn't undergo any special training for it or anything. That's not 'earning' shit, that's just training and getting lucky.

Point is that people are making a lot of assumptions about something that was never really explained very well. Simply put, I think people are just mad that Caulifla was able to do it in a way that didn't fit their headcanon.
