Screw that. This is now a sunsets thread.

Fable 2's Bowerlake, with this song playing it just reeks of nostalgia.

Anvil had a nice mediterrenean vibe

Fable 2 was almost ten years ago.
>>385719795
this is why i always buy the anvil house first.
>>385720462
>buy
fuck, when I was younger, I was terrified by this house, I don't even know why, there was just this fucking ghost screwing around.
>>385719942
>>385720158

>>385720962

>>385721180

>>385719795
Anvil was comfiest city.
>>385721180
Looks like dying light.

Even my character has the feels.
>>385722048

This felt like a nice place to retire into obscurity at the end of it all.
I don't know what the fuck CDPR was smoking with the vanilla final lighting. It could've looked so much better.
>>385719795
Essential comfykino.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUXyoyuJZ8Y
It's stupid how much a simple lighting mod makes the game looks so much better.
There's even barely any performance hits.
>>385724139
Consoles.
>>385719942
At least they got Toussaint right.
Especially with that relaxing BGM

This game has beautiful sunsets. Technically they could be sunrises since there's no compass and it all takes place in a simulation.
Reminds me of southern France.
>>385723659
The part from 3:10 is just amazing. The artists who created this needs way more recognition.
>>385724621
Solar Fields is fairly well known, anon.
They didn't however surpass themselves with Catalyst though, even though there's one or two tracks that I enjoyed.

what game anon?
>>385729007
Gothic
dont know if good feels or misguided wistful nostalgia
is TES:Oblivion an interesting game?
>>385730050
It's a good game anon. It's hilariously broken and kind of hard to look at sometimes but at it's core it has a unique charm that will keep you hooked. Plus you can mod the crap out of it; so it has that on it's side.
>>385719795
This place was way comfier than it had any right to be.
>>385730406
i will download gog version and install graphic mods. i missed it at release so i want something interesting to explore. does it have many quests, characters and creatures?
>>385730702
The quests are the game's strong suit
>>385730050
Someone who never played Elder Scrolls exists? Were you in stasis for the last decade?
>>385730779
i completed only daggerfall at release and played skyrim for a couple of hours which i dropped because of boredom
>>385730702
avoid most graphic mods. use OBGE or w/e is the newest version with only the light standard features (do not install snow stuff). unofficial patches, basic lightest OOO and Oblivion XP. RAEVWD but make sure you choose features in accordance to your PC (You need a strong GPU with a mismatched dual core OC'd to hell if you want to max it out without frame drops)
you can skip out on OOO but do not avoid Oblivion XP. avoid most content mods they're all completely out of place
enjoy
>>385730050
It has a couple design problems, mainly the level up system that requires some head wrapping around.
But other than that it has some of the best quests in any RPG I've played. They're that good.
Specialy the dark brotherhood and the thief's guild. Even the main quest is engaging and has likable characters.
>>385730920
Oblivion is better than Skyrim, but if you dropped the latter after a few hours, i don't think the franchise is for you, because the later installments are more of an action game than RPG, and that implies faster pacing and more casual approach, which is kinda the opposite of "boredom" and is designed to attract people with low attention span.
>>385731017
i will install only vanilla friendly mods as i always do, don't worry. thanks for advices
>>385731063
oblivion XP fixes the leveling system. granted you can still abuse with the charisma minigame or w/e it was called but at least it's not as bad as the default shit
>>385730050
>a bethesda game
>interesting
Pick one.
>>385730050
The pacing is shit and the voice acting is shit. The story is shit but the lore goes deep. Level scaling makes enemies sponges. You won't feel any progression because as you get better weapons your enemies become tougher. The only way to feel progress is to abuse alchemy and enchantment.
Oblivion's best quality is the music and the side quests.
Don't have a better picture but sunsets in subnautica are beautiful, especially underwater
>>385731132
also forgot to say to get character overhaul. the potato faces are bad enough that I'd recommend just getting v1 or v2 whichever you prefer
>>385731297
Watching sunsets in subnautica used to scare me because I was still under the impression something big could come up from under you and get you at any time.
>>385731150
I've never messed with mods for oblivion, since it was so long ago when I played it, but I'd say even the default version isn't THAT bad once you've figured out how it works.
The problem is that the way it works is literaly rocket science.
>>385731805
>you will never be able to go there
fucking eidos
>>385723004
>all those buffs
what
>>385731828
it's fine for the most part unless you're minmaxing but with only a few mods you can really make the game lose most of it's age
my biggest ever complaint about the game was always the draw distance really
>>385731828
Nah the vanilla system is bullshit.
It literally punishes you for levelling up characters major skill choices, it's completely backwards
>>385731338
Version 1 has been taken down for some reason
>>385731805
where is this? definitely not detroit, montreal, or panchaea, is this upper hengsha?
>>385732949
aye
>>385732128
>It literally punishes you for levelling up characters major skill choices, it's completely backwards
No, it doesn't!
It does a terrible job of explaining how it works, but it can be circunvented if you know how it works.
All you need to do is keep leveling up your majors even after you get the level up message in order to get a full bonus upon level up.
As far as I know there's only two instances where the game forces you to sleep anyway.
>>385728217
>>385728192
what mods?
>>385733083
The point is that you shouldn't have to "game" the system. The levelling system and the world scaling where easily the worst things about oblivion, it feels much better with mods that fix them.
>>385733083
>All you need to do is keep leveling up your majors even after you get the level up message in order to get a full bonus upon level up.
So, when the game tells me to sleep, I don't? Nice job, Todd Howard.
>>385732949
Yep it's just a skybox and you only get to see it from an elevator briefly.
>>385729564
can almost hear those 2 npcs talking loudly next to the fountain
leave the fucking barrier up mate, it's comfy in prison
>>385724204
what mod?
>>385721154
What gaem?
>>385739992
Hot Wheels DLC for Forza Horizon 3
>>385730050
No but it has a zillion mods.
>>385731132
Ignore that guy then. Oblivion XP should be avoided and MOO is better than OOO. RAEVWD will ruin your FPS too. OCO is still potato face too.
>leaving the madre vault for the first time
>realizing youll never see any of the characters or vera's hologram again
