Castlevania SotN or Super Metroid?

I feel like there is so much more to do in SoTN. Way more to explore. Way more powers. Plus leveling and getting equipment helps too.
Also Inverted castle kind of doubles the game.
That being said I enjoy Super Metroid's atmosphere, colors and music way more

sm has a more appealing narrative, world, and aesthetic. its gameplay is also more stream lined, which results in a more funner experience. i hate the arbitrary stat bullshit sotn has.

Super Metroid is a better game but weaker experience. Super Metroid is fine tuned where SotN is rather haphazardly constructed yet SotN sticks with you more.

SotN is proof that a mediocre game held aloft by exceptional presentation can transcend a tighter more polished and balanced game experience because things like play control, tight level design, encounter design, enemy design ect pale in comparison to the complete work whose atmosphere is superior.

Where Super Metroid will offer you interesting and unique gameplay challenges in a room, SotN presents you with a rich tapestry of pixel art and carefully selected music. In Super Metroid the room is a new challenge for the player, in SotN the look and feel are totally different but what the game asks you to do is essentially the same.

Super Metroid without a doubt.

SotN has a bigger map and more shit to do.
Super is more tightly designed, plays better, and doesn't have useless RPG mechanics.

SM is better.
