IMO Snake shouldn't get caught EVER. Not during gameplay anyway, THAT is canon, but these fags who don't think that, when caught out by a boss, that Snake/boss would just tranq them to sleep is absurd. Don't get caught, kill the story forced encounters. It's what would happen.

Because the best ranking is Big Boss and BB is a fucking psycho, he enjoys killing, he's addicted to war and making orphans only to turn them into soldiers that make more orphans gives him at least a half chub at any given time

you get an auto alert in the tower after sniper wolf, hows that tie into your theory?

incidently the same scene makes mgs1 very difficult but not impossible, to do a non lethal run, hope you bought stun grenades and have the aim of a god, with ps1 controls. (plus liquids whole speech about how you killed some genome soldiers.)

Not caught during gameplay, obviously cutscene captures are canon. But i don't believe that Snake/Boss would defend their life against boss fights bia non leathal means. He is always shown in cutscenes with an actual deadly wepon if he has one.

going from memory here, but the only canon kills are boss (press square) mantis vulcan wolf, oceliquid at the end of 4. in mgs3 he cqc's everyone despite having a gun out. kojima only went with the non lethal thing during mgs2 so 1 is very different. and after peace walker the same (can't non lethal your way out of the hospital.)
