Honestly, Delirium isn't even the worst part of AB+, it's the Void itself. Having a floor that is just patchwork blanket made out of earlier floors is just boring as fuck, it doesn't look and feel like a proper final area.

Should I buy both Afterbirth and AB+ next or only Afterbirth? Ive heard AB+ is a mess

Honestly everything past Womb was always kinda boring, if we talk base game without mods. I mean

Only reason no one notices how boring layouts beyond wombs are is because people at this point are either fighting for their lives or steamroll everything with screen-covering tears. One of things Antibirth did right was introducing new mechanics to levels. They are underused, but they at least do something new. Steakman redid same thing how many times now?
