As far as I understand, damage over time are still kinda crappy, an frenzy charges become "physical only" but all other builds seems to still work.

No such thing as a fun build on PoE with those lame sound effects and lack of impact on all abilities.

I have had this idea for a long time: permanent Immortal Call. Juggernaut's ascendancy, duration nodes, Enduring Cry, items with +end charges: this way you can keep IC up indefinitely in combat. It is viable in Uber Lab when Izaro has mods that increase only his physical dmg, such as fonts, charges or gargoyles, and even with other mods, because elemental damage is easier to mitigate. Very low dps, but that doesn't matter.

Most things got buffed in 3.0.0 actually. They only actually nerfed a very small number of things, but the PoE community is absolute cancer who will look at patch notes with a single inconsequential nerf and speak of nothing else.

It's especially fun when GGG stealth nerfs something, and no one even notices until patch notes mention it more than a year after they made the change.

I've been really looking to get back into ARPGs. I don't have the patience to make a build. Is there decent visually stimulating ranged builds? I don't really care for totems/fire skills. I thought that the ranger's tornado shot looks neat. Or maybe a witch with lightning skills.

Might be standard fare for some people but this is the first time I'll be trying berserker before his possible nerf, so I've built around a resolute technique unwavering stance vaal pact ele bladeflurry build with a tiny bit of armour and 240% life. Sadly BF can't use kaom's heart but oh well.

you are late by 2 major patches

the real game is now done inside Path of Building, where you plan out your build and your gear, calculate the dps on everything including end-game bosses to see if the build is shit or not.

if the build ends up being shit ( low dps and/or low hp/es ) - you make a new one
if the build ends up being "viable" - you save it and make a new one

oh and the time where you just picked a skill, looked at it's properties and took fitting passives for them is gone

I've spent 30 hours creating a 900k average damage, double curse, no weaknesses Juggernaut with moderate difficult to acquire gear (Will cost like 30+ exalts to pull) but it's perfect. Inb4 nerf ruins everything.
