M&K vs Controller

M&K is just superior.
It's rage inducing when developers do not develop for MK.
Dark souls.
Dark souls 1 was the worst pc port ive ever seen; BUT IT WAS VERY MODDABLE. Modders fixed it. MK controls became god tier.

Dark souls 2.
MK controls absolute trash, limits what keybinds you can use and also the developers didn't make the controls moddable which is cancer and should be illegal. So no mods exist for das2 similar to das1 which resolve these issues.

It should be illegal. Finding out how shit MK controls in das2 were, and then finding out the controls weren't moddable like das1- is the single worst experience in gaming I ever encountered.

2 mods, the first obvious one being DSFIX.
Second being Dark Souls Input customizer.

Lets you customize every bit of the controls , lets you customize how targeting works, and more. Basically makes the game control like a dream with K*M

Even for PC games like MMO's are a lot better on controller especially for grinding, it makes it so easy and fun to do

M and KB is no doubt better for FPS. i prefer the keyboard for movement. when you hit a or d, the strafing is as instant as it could be, obviously being affected by hardcoded player acceleration rate. so strafe dodges are effective and snappy on keyboard, and sluggish on console where you're rocking a stick back and forth. and with the most precise and natural aiming of a mouse, experiencing M and KB for long enough makes it very difficult to go back to playing FPS on console

MKB is life. Controllers are alright when you just want to lean back. I consider them more situational peripherals like a HOTAS or dancemat than a viable competitor.
