Resident Evil 7 has a demo called beginning hour.

Those are they only two I've played.

Why play Demo's when you can just go through their free to play selections? Marvel Heroes Omega is an okay Diablo lite. Neverwinter and Skyforge can scratch that MMO itch. Play Warframe if you want third person mission based online shooting. Even Smite can do it for you if MOBA's are your thing. There's lots of shit just waiting for you to download and get bored of after a few days. But those total days combined can be enough until you get some dosh for actual games.
