What I like about Retroarch is that it's very powerful and dynamic. You can configure it in any way you like, you can make custom shaders, borders, everything. All with perfect audio/video synch. With RA I feel in control of every aspect of the emulation.

If you're a computer illiterate that's fine, stick to standalones.
