not really. it would probably be remembered as a decent platformer at best, but would hardly be a cult classic.

Debatable. It might have been another Banjo-Kazooie, which some would consider better than Conker's Bad Fur Day in pure platforming mechanics, but Conker's Bad Fur Day is a really cool game for reasons that Twelve Tales and Banjo wouldn't have.
