Doom, of course, but Warframe is a close second. Tigris, Sobek, Hek, Boar Prime, Strun; all just have that nice OOMPH to them, with a sound file to match, and they ain't no close range pocket punch no... There's a reason many consider them the best snipers in the game. So damn satisfying.

Back in college, I worked on Mod for CS:S to make weapons handle more realistically. I calculated damage by projectile weight x velocity. I cant remember what exact formula I used but all guns felt like they should. Shotguns spread 1" every yard so at 100 Yards or 1.33HU every 48HU. So at say 100 yards you could still hit but it was unlikely. Unless you were using rifled slugs.

Combat was extremely satisfying, everyone who played on my server said that it just felt right. I remember that I was so proud of my work that I spammed forums of different up and coming FPS games to pester them into adopting my system. Nobody did. I wish I had more talent to model and code because I'd make my own game to showcase my system.

I didn't name it. I just ran it on my server.

I dont like squad. They went too far down the milsim route for me. I did play project reality for a while, but the current devs ruined it so I stopped playing it like a year ago.

I have zero industry experience. All I did was edit some files around and viola it miraculously worked for me. So the chances of me getting a job are slim to none.

I remember Rainbow Six Siege having pretty nice shotguns. I liked SAS' version, Thatcher with a shotgun and a pistol was my main.
