3 is the best one, even if it is a mammoth that has trouble carrying its own weight, lagging even on the best of the computers.

It doesnt lag if you turn off the distant detailed lots option, but the loading times there's no way around it. It always took me like 7-10 min to get into the game iirc

Sims 2 had a more comfy atmosphere though. Just getting in cars normally, the expansion packs, all in all the feel of it. Though it is probably quite outdated to play now and maybe I wouldn't enjoy it now as I did once.

both. 3 needs some under the hood mods to help load times a little so make sure you get those.

Honestly? Probably The Sim 2. University for Sims 3 sucked in comparison. It was cool meeting so many new people in Sims 2: University. In The Sims 3: University, everyone remains strangers, and your dormmates are as random as can be. Nothing like doing panty raids with 60 year old pledges.

You can't lounge on couches in TS3, so fuck that game.

2, 3 is ugly as sin and runs slow as all hell

honestly 1. 4 is so utterly devoid of content its actually insulting. 4 has only remained as slightly relevant as it is due to the popularity of sex mods for it (which are still nowhere near as good as 3')

Took a look at a couple of his videos.
I have sims 2 installed already, but haven't played it in ages, I'll probably play it for a while since I can't do anything about getting 3 since my internet is out. But from his videos, I'll probably take a look at late night and university.
