Delay the C as much as possible, closer to the ground. If it's the dash giving you trouble, you can start buffering after the C hits but before you land. What you could try doing is hitting the first half of the dash command (6) after the C hits, then do the rest of dash as soon as you land. Might look something like this: 236A > 9jc > dl.5C(air) > 6(air) > 6C(ground). Only thing I'd add is to use slowdown if you aren't already, and don't panic mash the dash. Once you get the rhythm down, it's actually pretty easy.

Fighting an Orie who knows what she's doing is pretty scary.

I used to think that people were delusional when they said Under Night was anime Street FIghter, but now that I've played it I admit it really is. It's not like BB/GG were you get placed in 30 in-game secs of high/low mix ups and the actual mix ups are FAIR in this game versus others. It's by far the most laid back anime fighter of the bunch.

Even considering height, you can still start the aerial combo with 2C same as you would with 5B at the same height. Several of his recommended combos list the same JC routes you do in mission mode (j.B > j.2C > j.C).

seth is not hard. he is hard to play optimally, but ST has made it so he effectively has one 2.5-3k combo that he can lead into from anything and now you have fantastic normals and frame data, tons of stuff to win neutral effectively for free and simple but many layered mixups that requires pretty hard reads to punish for most of the cast

someone like carmine or orie who has to play on point with their spacing game the whole round to get their setplay going and learn a bunch of different combos is hard, not seth at the level anyone in this thread is playing at

Hilda's a dumb bitch being used by the big bad, and got wrapped up in all this rebirth shit and let it get to her head, but she's genuinely a fun character when she's not being an evil leader. Amnesia in general is just filled with a bunch of good or cool guys who are doing "bad" shit for whatever reasons. This includes Gordeau and Chaos. Enkidu only wants to fight strong people.
Wagner is an ojou who's a weeb and has no social skills but genuinely enjoys her daily normal life. She's only a huge cunt when she's working or acting on specific orders from her organization.
Byakuya is a smug dick, but is actually a victim of circumstance and became a broken man.
Carmine is an asshat, but he just wants to fight and bully people regardless of faction or affiliation, and doesn't really have an ulterior motive other than bullying nerds.
Seth looks like an edgelord but is actually the hero.
When it comes down to it there aren't really any "evil" people in the main cast.

It's not actually that hard. The common point to start holding down pin is 623A, which gives a fuckload of time to do so. Using pin is way more difficult in neutral\pressure, because if you misjudge the distance, it whiffs and you're left wide open.

Well [st] is the closest thing to a full release the series has ever had and it's moving out of the "kusoge" territory. The tutorial is getting praised because it teaches you a lot of shit from the very basics to stuff like looking for and choosing the right option select and mission mode for the most part teaches you semi-optimal combos pro players actually use.

I recently got this game, and I have a question about it. I know vaguely the strengths and weaknesses of characters that I'm interested in from the wiki and listening to others, except for Wagner. What kind of stuff is she good at, what is she weak with, and what is her plan in general?

She's good at corner carrying, cross-ups, and constant pressure up close. She has a hard time getting in and playing neutral against people with bigger ranges than her because she has no projectiles. She almost plays like Hyde but with no fireball or groundflame. Her plan is to get in the opponent and not let them out. It's also imperative to buff either the sword and shield to make blockstrings more safe or make your combos more damaging
