The game is a permanent grind to level 45, easily. Level 45-80 is the time when you either reap the rewards of clever planning, or sit around being a useless cunt because you thought group-raids and after-training parties were 'golden opportunities'. Game doesn't kick into high-gear until post-40's, and if you fucked up early game, you never even get to see it and think the 20's was the highlight.

Each human has, on average, 66.12 years to live. This time limit can be extended if you're healthy enough. Unfortunately, it's also luck based, as your time limit can be drastically reduced depending on where your character lives; for example, a character based in Africa is likely to have a lower time limit than one in Europe. Sometimes your characters time limit is unexpectedly ended by just plain unfair things, like being hit by a car. There are entire character classes (doctors, surgeons, etc.) dedicated to extending play time.

Unfortunately the only reliable mitigation for all the crap the Depression debuff adds is wasting points in Hope.

Doubly shit because you permanently lose a % of all future INT gains, though thankfully WIS is untouched. On top of that, based on other stats (which are hidden cause lol game development) you will constantly need a certain level of Hope to mitigate Depression. If you let it get too low, all your points in it are wasted, but if it gets too high, you take INSANE penalties to core stats like INT, WIS, and END, and additional penalties to minor stats like productivity, self-sufficiency, and anything to do with actually getting shit done yourself.

So in short, slightly lower your INT, put some points into Hope, try to find a good balance, expect to go through periods of complete ass-whipping when you either dump too much or too little into the stat, and try not to think about it because its one of those fucking stupid debuffs that actually gets worse the more times you inspect it.

Can we seriously talk about how fucked up the stat balance is now? INT has steadily getting more and more overpowered with each patch. At this point there's almost no point in going for, say, DEX or STR, at least in terms of the endgame. If you put everything into STR/DEX and somehow manage to make your char really get into sports, you can maybe make it work if you get lucky with like football or become the fucking Rock or something. 99% of the time you'd be better off going for INT with some CHA.

Like in the old patches INT wasn't as good because most players couldn't ever make any use of it thanks to how different the profession system and the world in general was. Like what good did your 50 INT do when you were stuck being a peasant? Now literally anyone can just go all out on INT and make fucktons of money.

The problem with this is moreso the players, not so much the stats.

Because of initial random stat dispersion and the fact that some people just flat out don't want to fucking have their main stat be INT, or STR or whatever, the focus should be on grouping to balance out deficiencies. INT and CHAR mains work better in leadership roles, generally, while STR and END folks are badass support. The problem is that almost all the factions, guilds and servers teach this mind-blowingly retarded mindset that "LOL IF YOU'RE A LEADER WITH HIGH INT, YOU SHOULD FUCK OVER EVERYONE ELSE" or "Hurr you're a shitter with high STR and END go fucking hammer nails on autogrind for 40 levels you useless waste of space." Then the STR guys get all pissy because everyone treats them inferior and the INT guys develop massive egos and turn into cunts because they think leadership roles = social importance with 0 responsibility.

Still looking for a party where there's mains for all the core stats, but everyone can appreciate what they contribute, not piss on eachother, and actually work with their strengths to advance to the awesome endgame content.

The devs already confirmed that it just isn't possible with the tech at their disposal, and even if they did you would only be able to watch the replays from a first-person perspective.

Because of the way rarity only changes based on how many updates previous the item was introduced, not only are they fucking impossible to keep track of, but all the legit and verified items got bought by the top 1% of players and usually admins, and have been locked in their personal vaults for ages. Finding a legit Legendary in this current game version is nigh impossible, don't even bother.
