Not play as but you can get one as a quad member in Mass Effect 2. You have to make an additional payment though, for content that is already on the disc.

that's not how you use that reaction image
Supposing proteins can act as genetic material (I know they were originally favored before discovery of DNA although I don't know if they really can perform such a task), some of the species in games like Stellaris might be protein-based in such a way. And given that bodies are in essence biomechs that genes (which in this case would be proteins) construct to self-replicate in a roundabout way, in a sense you'd play as a protein.

Splice
But you organize cells something something
>you'll never be a motor protein
Why even bother anymore.

I've always hated visualizations like that because it gives people the idea that the kinesin "walks" like muscled legs walk. It neglects to mention all of the involved reactions, how each head coordinates, the electromagnetic component, and especially the speed. These fuckers go sanic speed just like everything else in your body.
>>385657281
If you wanted them to show the electromagnetic interactions then they would literally have to visualize all the surrounding environment and proteins/organelles/residues that exert force as well. You are right about the sanic speed though, students never really get to understand how fast every process they learn is.
