>Falloff damage starts are 4 FUCKING METERS, meaning any enemy more than 4 meters will not take the full blunt of the new lower cap
>8 meters away that damage cap is 100 damage (assuming all pellets are hitting on a large enough hitbox
>This falloff carries over to his alt-fire, meaning that outside of point from the explosion, it will never more than 149 damage

Its a real fucking shame when you can be 10 meters from a sombra, and your shots only do 40 damage because of falloff and the horrible spread missing most of the shot on small hitboxes.

Nerfing Hog's damage hits him 3-fold more than anyone else, even with the increase fire rate. He can't get a reliable pick on any hero except tracer point blank (and you have to press your gun against her womb), he can't probably deal enough damage to get picks on even defenseless tanks, and his damage is curbstompped by anyone with armor.

You can't even kill a rein but just putting your gun against his back and rapid firing because the armor brings that maximum damage cap down to 75! So all 5 shots would only do 475 damage. And then on top Hog's now a healing post for reapers, who heals 50HP a second firing against him, and can't even put a dent into Orisa with fortify (damage cap is only 37 per shot)

So given that Hog only does 10 more damage per shot as reaper, has a much higher falloff and spread, a slower fire rate, a long reload time, and a smaller clip size, I have to ask how Blizzard thought that this was a nerf and not a funeral.

Can we just talk for a second about how fucking awful Overwatch's map design is? It was always bad but Moon put it through the fucking roof. What is the point of the map where 90% of it is going unused because defenders have a worse spawn to actually protect the point in a game where the attackers are already advantaged? Where the 'flanking' routes are just longer ways to get back onto the main path right in front of the same choke everyone else has to get to. Why the fuck are defender spawns eternally further away from the point their supposed to defend on every map except Volskaya.

Just accept that the game is irredeemable shit and move on, ffs. It's been bad since launch and we're far past the point where Blizzard is ever going to radically fix the game to make it not a completely casual piece of shit.

Both of those require far more than half the cast to go through a stupid chokepoint to even see the first point. Part of why TF2 was good is that fucking everybody could flank around the same path, scout was just better because being faster means the longer route made less of a difference. Instead they designed the game around only certain heroes being able to even touch the flanking routes.

Yeah but at least Mccree is still viable as a long range mobile DPS or a counter to Pharah (but if its pharah mercy, it might be moot after a distance because of falloff)

Hog is literally a negative character at the moment, and blizzard's bandaid to it is to make him an enemy feed machine.

it wouldn't. diving with a Winston and DVA at the moment has no real risks as they can mitigate any form of CC the enemy tries to stack onto them.
