It's pretty much a System Shock 2 but less horrid to control with a better inventory system and crafting that isn't a pain in the ass.

Also more open on how you can tackle situations and levels, unlike in Bioshock where it was heavily linear. You can finish it with zero upgrades.

I think Dishonored 2 and Prey did pretty poorly in terms of sales, so I don't think we'll see more games in those series for some time, let alone immersive sims (especially considering Deus Ex is also on a break).

Prey is alright but it became too easy once you reach a certain level, not to mention you can mass produce neuromods to boost your character.

The enemy variety might be lacking, but I can’t say there are only few types of enemy because that conclusion above is exaggerated by the power level you can reach in game.

Enemies that mimick your surrounding is a good idea, but it gets old really fast and it seems the devs didn’t put much thought to push it further. And we end up shooting generic fireball throwing enemy or big bad monster.
