Seriously each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. First time I managed to E-Mule Chamber, it was either SPA or ITA. It had the funniest names for Spongify and Skurge.

I had it on the PS1, but I owned a PS2 and didn't have a PS1 memory card, so I was never able to save the game. The farthest I ever got was the Gringotts mine cart thing. I have an early PS3 Slim, so I do have backwards compatibility with PS1 games and the ability to make digital PS1 memory cards, but I haven't tried playing it again. I did watch the OneyPlays videos the other day up to where I got, and I really should 100% it one day.

It always shocks me that everyone is so familiar with this game, but it is Harry Potter after all.

These games are so B-list it hurts, and yet we still love them. I love you, guys.

There was some part in the chamber of secrets for ps2 where you had to jump from platform to platform in some greenish dungeon, and these ghosts were flying back and forth or some shit and would knock you off while jumping.

These stupid ghosts knocked me off so many times I raged harder than I ever have in my life and I turned around and kicked my couch.

Gamecube and Xbox are identical while PS2 has its advantages and disadvantages compared to them, while being mostly similar. I say go for PS2 but unless you own one you'll find that our 95 percent compatibility emulator PCSX2 just happens to be incompatible with Harry Potter.
