I knew star citizen was a scam as soon as I saw the engine they picked. There is no reason you would pick Cryengine for this project unless you're not selling a game, you're selling promotional videos of ships.

It's the reason the game won't let you spawn a ship once 11-12 people have theirs spawned, Cryengine is not made for this type of thing. It just looks pretty and makes nice ship ads.

No they haven't, it still has limitations that make it impossible to deliver the game they promised. Spawning five or six large ships or 10-12 small ships makes it impossible for anyone else in the server to spawn ships. There is a players-per-instance limit of 32. Star Citizen will never be an MMO or even a 'Battlefield'-scale game.

I have to say I am more than happy with all the content that is delivered weekly. Its been improving exponentially from wingman's hangar to Jump Point and the recent ATV (bug's smashers not you). Its been an amazing experience backing the game. I understand the frustration due to the long wait, and the constant setbacks, yet there is great progress being made constantly given the scope of what we want. When looking at other projects like "The mandate", a kickstater where management basically stole the money and cut all communication with backers. Mass Effect Andromeda's fiasco due to rush half-ass development, and Shawn's "the public meltdown" No man Sky. I have to say id rather wait a bit more and get a great final product.
