Overall I don't like the game but the single comfiest moment I've had in /v/idya was in Minecraft. There was a point about an hour in where I'd cobbled together a shitty house and made it safe with a hastily made moat. It was raining in game and that was the only sound effect. It was the first time I'd really felt safe since booting the game up and it was maximum comfy.

It's debatable which one is "best". Personally I like them all for different reasons. But 3 does shine in the storytelling, same as the other games. It should be pretty cheap too now, so it's definately worth a try. Just don't bother trying to to a bunch of sidequests and stuff, just go for the story stuff and sidequests with story tied to them (like say Vito's).
