Sega is just a shambling dead guy with blue skin stretched over it.

All the real talent left ages ago and the studios that made them memorable have been decommissioned or exist in name only. Just look at sonic mania and how it took fans recreating the sonic engine to make a decent 2d game. Something Sega should have been able to do in their sleep.
