I am not getting Switch anytime soon (not interested in trying to work around emulation) but I am pretty much interested in Zelda. The game looks amazing. I assume you played Rayman Legends. If you can get past the old graphics try out Tenchu 2 and Oddworld if you haven't. Also which one you didn't like?

I've played all the 2D Rayman games so you're right to think that.
Tenchu also always looked so stiff to control and Oddworld felt more like a slow puzzle game, so I never got around to them.
I didn't like Burning Crusade, I took more away from the vanilla game and the LK expansion. Other than Illidan and Shattrath I don't recall much else. That being said I wouldn't add a MMO to a 3x3 if it was dead and a shell of its former self.

2/2 (Dead Space, Mass Effect 2)

SOMA is a walking simulator with amazing setting. The world feels real and offers some amazing sights (if you are into sci-fi and deep sea that is), the characters are well-written, their stupid behavior is something you would expect from humans in their position and the game doesn't need to feed you constantly for explanations behind their motives (the characters even tell each other factually wrong information on purpose and the game isn't jumping in to remind you they are wrong). The near-ending moment is one of the best in video games that can be only achieved in this medium imo.

The game lacks combat and that's my main issue. It would be a masterpiece if it had combat of Dead Space for example. If you can get past that it's a very unique experience where morality doesn't have Mass Effect dialogue wheel with red and blue but you still get to decide what happens and it's more impactful exactly because it's not a dialogue wheel.

I don't know first hand, but the series's pedigree is good, at least when it was originally developed by Flight Plan people (I've played a lot of their Black/Matrix games and most of them were good). I think Banpresto might have absorbed some of them when the studio was dissolved? Anyway I just felt that might be suitable given that you have FE and Aragest in there, and considering that with 99N and SK you'd probably be more lenient towards weebism. I'm not sure how weeby SN games get but I don't think it's quite N1 level.

Because playing it after MGS on PSX was an amazing experience, it's magnum opus of Kojima. MGS3 is a great game but its existence serves only to mock fans by giving them exactly what they expected out of 2 so they can jerk off to Snake and his little sob story about betrayal while MGS2 is a timeless masterpiece applicable even to this day.
