Demon's Souls is more important if they wanna remake something.
Dark Souls released for Switch then DeS remake for PS4.
It was the first game and deserves more.

DS1 is definitely getting a remake/remastered

The game hasn't been on sale for a while on both PC and console while DS2 and DS3 got regular discounts during sales. And that is new because DS1 always used to get a sale when the others also got a sale.

So they are not putting it on sale on purpose.
They don't want people to buy because they want them to spend their money on the new version instead.

And a remaster/remake makes perfect sense because DS1 is the only Souls game you cannot play on a PS4/XBONE.
If they made a new version for the new console generation they could create a Souls-Trilogy Bundle for those platforms which is easy money.

This was brought up in the last thread about this topic. As for no pausing when you may have to get off the bus because you're playing on the go? Emergency sleep button or suffer the consequences of being bad with timing your play sessions is the obvious answer.

Asynchronous multiplayer? If the Switch has the radios necessary to perform the same actions as street pass on 3ds maybe it could pass your character's save data over to another person who comes in range and your character would appear as either an NPC summon sign or NPC invader. Definitely not a perfect solution but some solution at least.

I'd buy it if it was true, but it's probably a long stretch

The only FS game that was released on a Nintendo system in the last 7 years was Monster Hunter Diary, which was just a port from a 5 year old PSP game, so I wouldn't expect anything great if I were you. Probably some port shit you can buy on Steam for 5-10 bucks but Nintendo'll charge between 40 and 60.

This was rumored to release alongside the GOTY version of DaS 3. The GOTY has been out for several months now. It ain't happening.

My guess is, they had it running but performance wasn't on par, so Nintendo just used it as a hype generator for some extra sales of the Switch.

don't care, from soft has never made a great game without the help of SCE. The first half of DaS1 was a fluke and used DeS as a base anyway
