You're not supposed to be taking it to your base. You have to go to the enemy base and plant it on the pillar-like goal. It exploded because it has a timer that's designed to stop faggots from hoarding it.

I played this game at a friends house today and we leveled his character up from 6 to 10. The game is really fun. I like using the slosher to kill people, and the blaster, although it isn't as good. You just aim the slosher up at up to a 45 degree angle and it rains down all over them without telling you how much damage you are really doing. I also had a lot of success with the splattershot jr + its armor, and the dualies and the basic gun with the jetpack. The missiles are cool when you jump back to spawn so you can aim at everyone. I don't get the point of the ink storm, and barely tickles the enemy. Ink slam is very situational. The paint roller kinda sucks

I went from C- to C+ when I had like 15-20 more kills than the rest of my team pretty consistently and i felt like i should have moved up a bit more. Why the fuck does splat zones have a penalty timer whereas both other ranked modes reward you for winning (rainmaker/tower closer to the destination)? Feels bad to hold the zone for like 50 seconds (or ticks w.e) and then get a 60s penalty, run that penalty down to single digits, lose zone, get another 60s penalty.

They don't actually, and seeing people do this is always irritating. If you take them off the tower, it will go back on its own after a short time, or you can just touch it briefly to start sending it back right away. If you get off it will keep going and you can actually assist your team in clearing turf up ahead and making a safer path when the tower gets back to the middle and needs to be ridden again. You aren't helpful in defending the tower by riding it back, you've just made yourself a target.

>Wide Splatling: really short, but wide cone making it fuck you up at point blank

You don't switch between them its more of a grenade button kind of thing. Go into the weapon shops testing area and figure it out.

Subweapons are the ones you throw. Bombs, grenades, whatever. They're applied to each weapon set and can't be changed. If you want to use the same weapon but different sub/special on it, you have to wait for them to release a rebranded version of it, or unlock it. Dualies for example have the Enperry Dualies, which function identically but have Curling Bomb+Inkjet instead of Burst Bomb+Tenta missiles

Exactly the one. It requires a string of timing and aiming for some weapons that can be really finicky if you get into the wrong groove. For the Charger, it looks like aiming down is the best because otherwise it's too easy to over or under shoot and the Charger has so spread so you really need to hit it dead on unlike most weapons.

Bizarrely, the melee weapons were easier to get through it with. It's heartening to know they recognized it was bullshit with the Charger too, as I'm absolutely certain most weapons have a much shorter safety platform such that you need to make it too the switch before you're safe to fall. With the Charger, as long as you make that first globe that you can hit from the platform, you'll never die to falling. Just have to do tedious, tedious super jumping back.

It's not about being bad or good as a player. The Aerospray excels in exactly one area, covering turf. In turf war, it's good. In ranked, your ability to splat enemies and control space over a large distance are nil. You will be annihilated by anything with more range than you (most things), and even other close-range weapons will outpace your damage. If you're able to succeed, it's due to overwhelming talent on your part, unbelievable incompetence on the enemy's part, or some combination of both, and because the aerospray has no special qualities, your skills would be better put to use transferred to a more reliable weapon.

If someone is good with the aerospray, they could be better with something else. Even in turf war, the brush is better for getting into enemy territory and being an annoyance to slow them down assuming the player is good. Aerospray is pretty much just for pushing the front line quickly. This becomes unimportant after a certain point since the levels are design to give an advantage to a team close to their spawn. It is also good for getting a good score in turf war, but that is also not necessarily the key to winning.
