I personally recommend something that expands the perk trees. Vanilla tree is just so bland.

If you want IMMERSSHUN with your spells I suggest Spell Research, it's a fairly new mod that makes it so you can "research" spells and spell archetypes to learn them instead of smashing a tome into your head so hard it break, it was recently updated to include PerMa spells so that makes me plenty excited

A lot of them are way too long and thus look like shit. First of all, there is a ton of clipping when you run and it looks bad. Secondly, have you ever walked around outside? In a real forest? The ground is usually wet and will soak the cloak making it heavy. It collects dirt and leaves will stick to it. It's a mess. An adventurer cloak should only go down to the knees.

MO is perfect for when you want to install all those sexlab mods when you're feeling it, but hide it all and play like normal or with regular mods when you have other people in the room.

I fucking love the way it handles mods.
Only thing I dont like is if you fuck around with the load order too much and get confused you kind of fuck yourself over.

Agree to an extent.

Essential mods are those who fix vanilla game, and in that regard the only essential mod is USLEEP.
Other critical mods are:

Crash fixes
Bug fixes
No crash on continue
Precache Killer

Then you have those that works as a framework for other mods, such as SKSE. It is the base of many of the mods, such as Sky UI, another essential one that makes Skyrim GUI more PC user friendly (whenever I see an unmodded Skyrim video I thank this one exists)

Other framework mods are FNIS for animations including sex ones, and Racemenu.

The rest listed are actually flavor mods, and depends on your liking. I personally couldn't ever play Kyrim without the immersion/survival mods such as Frstfall,Campfire and Wet and Cold.

It is and it isn't (at least for me).
I once had a fuckton of mods (sexlab) installed, and fucked around with the menu on the right, I think it's the priority list or something (I havent played in a while). Everything got all sorts of fucked up.
LOOT fixes one of them, but not both of them, and shit was conflicting because one menu would say one thing, but the other gave it another.
Now I don't really fuck with it unless I really have to, which is actually super rare because MO is usually on top of shit as far as that goes.

CBBE never quite works the way I want it to though. Half the time it works with custom armors others it doesn't, even if I put the overwrite files in the correct spot. Then the boobs on the pc get all kinds of fucked up after a while because of the hdt and never reset properly.
That's all on me though.
