The game to movie conversion really need a very talented writer. It's like with The Walking Dead. The comics and tv show are kind of mediocre, but first season of Telltale Walking Dead is probably the best story out of entire TWD franchise. We need a filmamaker who can present the universe from the game and its characters in an interesting way that we can enjoy.

I think the most important [art to focus on are the characters. No matter what game, you need to make the protagonist relatable before you try to develop the world of the game that you are trying to portray,


Also try to skip games that are just about mindless shooting and killing like Doom, Postal or Far Cry.
Series like Mafia, GTA and Max Payne need to be characters focused rather than action even if the source material was all about shooting.

First of all the director need to be an actual nerd and not a try hard faggot who want ot pander with game references.

This is exactly what I've been thinking.

With that in mind, I've been really wanting a Devil May Cry movie lately. I really think it could work. One thing that I've noticed from watching a lot of superhero movies like Blade or Deadpool, is that they have really similar protagonists who are really stylish and cool, while also dropping a lot of cool one-liners and dripping with personality. I mean, Devil May Cry was even inspired by Blade in the first place. It's basically the same shit. You have your badass, quipping protagonist doing badass things, being in fight scenes where they dominate weaker foes, but manage to look so cool doing it that you don't mind that they're not really in danger until they fight that one or two bad guys who are actually a threat.

With DMC, particularly if they ever adapted the first game, I also think it'd work as a sort of subverted horror movie, where it might have a creepy atmosphere and even appear to be a horror movie at first, before Dante takes out the source of horror effortlessly and in a really cool way. I would watch the fuck out of that. And then with a sequel, you could adapt DMC3 and that would be sweet with Vergil and stuff.

Even without giving the movie special treatment for being a video game adaptation its a pretty good movie. Acting is passable (except Kano who is genuinely impressive), music is good, choreography is gripping, and the movie is seriously beautiful in terms of shot composition and cinematography.

Blackhand was a toady though. He wasn't totally subservient to Gul'Dan, but he was just a puppet. The Shadow Council where the ones pulling the strings which Gul'Dan was the leader of. it wasn't until Doomhammer killed Blackhand and the Shadow Council for fucking over the Horde and killing his best friend did Gul'Dan turn all pussy. which was an act in order to buy time to try and take back the Horde from Doomhammer.

Honestly the biggest problem I had with that fucking movie was the total ruining of Orgrim Doomhammer. They took him from the honorable badass second in command of the Blackrock Clan and turned him into a member of the Frostwolf Clan. Instead of Orgrim being the one to finally have enough of Gul'Dan and Blackhands bullshit and corrupting of the Horde they give it to Durotan and Martyr him, have Lothar kill Blackhand with little effort and turn Garona into the new Horde posterchild and possible Warchief in that timeline or story to whatever the fuck the movie is suppose to be. And they made him bald to for some reason which I just don't like and I can't really explain why it does bother me.
