Golden Sun games are extremely overrated. There are better exclusive RPGs on Nintendo platforms, even on the GBA.

And it's not even like the series is in a good place- Dark Dawn was crap.

Golden Sun had its chance. Maybe it'd still be around if Camelot could actually finish a game without any loose ends.

It was a nice nostalgic game that made me feel like I was on a big adventure across a big world solving puzzles and wrecking monsters with Magic which is pretty much what both 1 and 2 were. Basically every mechanic from the originals were present and it had some new classes and psynergy to fuck around with.

People rant about the plot not going anywhere and characters ranting but shit nigger this is fucking par for the course in GS. Outside of 100% autists complaing about points of no return I really don't see how DD has any weaknesses that it doesn't share with 1 and 2.

While we're on it; Sakuraba actually did a pretty fucking great OST that actually sounded like Golden Sun after years of phoning it in with Tales Of.
