I actually own SotC. One of the many games on my backlog. I never owned a PS2 until just recently (I had a GameCube) so I missed out on the entire 6th gen of Japanese games. 4/4, AoS is great

The section of Morrowind where you need the Ashlander tribes to name you Nerevarine was so fucking tedious, but it was worth it.

Probably for the best, I could see it being hard to go back to it after playing SMTIV which brought in a lot of QoL improvements to the gameplay. I just see most people prefer Nocturne and SJ to IV was the only reason I asked.

Golden Axe Revenge of Death Adder is, in terms of CONTENT, hands down THE best beat 'em up, as far as I'm concerned. Just one of the most stupidly nice looking games I've ever seen with gorgeous designs and possibly the best barbarian setting I've ever seen in a video game and silky smooth controls. It's a pretty typical old school hack n slash 2D arcade game, but done to (near) perfection.

Holy Diver is the best Castlevania clone ever. I wouldn't put it over the actual Castlevania games, but I was sticking to 1 game per series, so it made the cut. Underrated as fuck game.
