Can we have a Company of Heroes thread?

I wanna get back into playing, I only played the first one a bit. I actually have the second one and "all the DLC" too. If I want to go back and start playing again, which one should I play? In all honesty, it should probably be one of my favorite RTS games ever from what little I played of it, but I think another game came out after I started playing it that distracted me.

I guess what I mean is, I have about 30 hours into CoH1. Should I go back and play it more or should I jump right to CoH2? Is it a total improvement now?

Yeah, CoH2 gameplay is improve from the first. But 1 is still fun though.

Most people in the community prefer CoH1 but, that could be nostalgia. I prefer CoH2 but that could be because I prefer the Eastern Front to the Western

I haven't really played since before the Brits were released, was balance ever improved on? I felt like the game was in a great state just before WFA, but when USF and OKW were released, the two factions just felt imbalanced in the sense the USF was really, really strong early and trickled off to nothing and OKW could steamroll anyone if they worked up to veteran troops.
