The recommended method to grind is

You basically need to pray for high tide (so fuckers can't run off as a one many army) or hope that you get the "tough" weapon in round 3 so the others stand a chance of actually being useful.

Given the relative scarcity of the Switch, I'd wager that there aren't that many brand new people at this point just rising through the ranks, and most of the people you're stuck with are actually that bad.

Flyfish are shitty and you need to deal with it. There's already RNG in how bosses spawn, so if you get multiple Flyfish at once your team is basically incapable of handling them all, which means you get snowballed. That's a problem. The only way to kill them right now is two (2) high-cost precise shots, which would be fine on its own, but combined with the rest of the shit you need to deal with it's not okay. There's not enough ink to go around when you have to use a move that drains a good 75% of your max two times. If you have a teammate with you, that's fine, but more often than not Flyfish also spawn pretty far away so you can't always risk running out there with two people, and god forbid you get two Flyfish far away. You don't have enough time to kill them before they start the barrage if you're on your own, period. Please continue to not have an argument though.
