Dead serious. Every single decision they made with that game was the wrong one. Between the blood viles, long ass load screens, having to constantly teleport back and forth between the hunters dream and the various areas, the shitty bosses that all just comprise large beasts that flail around and the samey areas, there's really nothing positive I could say about the game. Huge disappointment since I bought a PS4 just to play it.

Nah, fuck off m8. DMC1 as a whole is a far better game. Better level design, atmosphere, music that isn't lyrical cancer, and most importantly, enemies that are actually AGGRESSIVE. I'm so tired of you retarded DMC3babbies who think the game is some pinnacle of action games, when it couldn't be further from the truth. DMC3 took the nuanced combat of the first and made it almost entirely combo-oriented. The challenge isn't "Fighting" enemies, it's juggling shit with your muscle memory as long as you can while enemies telegraph their shit for 5 seconds long.
