Depends on how much you like the aesthetics of Pikmin. Item descriptions are there and really nice and the Pikmin do lots of cute stuff. Gameplay is super basic and has next to nothing in common with the mainline gameplay, if you hate tapping with the stylus avoid it all costs. I mean its nothing too good but as a huge fan of Pikmin I like it as a novelty and I'll just think of it as funding future mainline games.

All three games are on wii u eshop. And the first two game's gamecube versions emulate pretty good. I actually recommend motion controls for the games though.
