ITT: Flavors of the month/week

this was babby's first early access survival crafting game for me. Put in a good 150 hours over the course of two weeks then never came back to it. Probably had the most fun in a game I've had in years though. Damn I kinda miss it now...

One of those that had a lot of potential, but funcom being funcom it's fucked. Are their patches still breaking the game or did they finally get their shit together?
I love survival crafting. Fucking hate how all of them are about pvp though. Have to spend shitloads of dev time fixing exploits and deal with making things tediously grindy in the name of balance.

I'm jusrt waiting for a sale. Fuck paying full price to beta test an unfinished game.

It was fun for a week or two grinding my ass to build a sickass fort in a server full of assholes. Had tons of fun but I guess I burnt all the contents away at once.

does it have a single player sandbox mode like Ark? cos I would play that
>>385492931
There is a singleplayer but it's not as interesting as multiplayer in my opinion, since all the encounters with NPCs are pre-determined.

>The next Dark Souls
>Forgotten in a week

yea but if i'm gonna play a grindfest base builder, it won't be on a public server where dickheads who play it 24/7 can fuck everything up
still the best FOTM

If that's your goal I think you would like it. I just find messing with people in multiplayer much entertaining imo.

>mfw I took a week off of work just so I could secure my fort from the alpha clan that terrorized the server, then when I inevitably spent less time in game and forgot to delete my staircases they raided and destroyed all my hard work.
I love these survival crafting games offline but online they're the worst fucking games imaginable.

at the end of the day the biggest no-lifer wins, sums up every mmo and survival game
>Got released with massive hype
>Sold more than 1M units
>"Revolutionizing the FG genre, it's gonna be the next hottest e-sport, fuck yeah!"
>A month later...
>Switch owners all pretend it never happened and move on to Splatoon 2.
>>385492205
This game deserves more players than that shitty mmo game.

>I get all of my opinions from /v/ shitposts

It's true though. Just like Rust, Day Z, H1Z1, etc. before it, PUBG will fade away into obscurity and only a handful of players will still be playing it next quarter.
