Sol being influenced by Jotaro I can see, the rest is kind of reaching. The musical references are obvioulsy because Ishiwatari likes them, you can even hear how a lot of themes are homage to bands to not say plagiarism, and both Zato and Dio being voiced by Koyasu is just a coincidence, mainly because he only got to voice the later long after.

Ishiwatari has never spoken about any sort of inspiration from JJBA and if he did, it's not like he would have any reason to not talk about it. I guess i should've said that they were very similar in some ways. I've always thought that Jojo was pretty unique with the way it both has several bits of culture references jam into it and at the same time is something that is constantly referenced as being in itself apart of the media culture.

It's very endearing to see a game jam packed with a lot of references to rock music and it certainly stands out among other fighters thanks to it.
