Beat it in 3 hours but got 30 hours out of it.
Good game if you like perfecting it until you can't git gud anymore. The secret boss that comes with the DLC is great.

Tried it for the first time today, not sure if I'll play it again because of the slow ass walking between fights and because I died at the end of an about 5 phase fight and got put back at the beginning of the whole thing.

I get the feeling like this game has no respect for my time.

Just press A or X and enjoy the music and visuals. Without them the game wouldn't paced as well and they do a good job for story building and telling you about who you're about to fight.
